Qualifications / work experience

After qualifying as a hairdresser I worked my way up to be a senior-sylist and eventually manager in a North London salon and was very happy there for a number of years. I completed several courses throughout this time including Toni and Guy cutting to Clynol colouring courses. Currently I am working at Hairy Canary and am enjoying being back in a varied salon environment after having  my second child..

What / who are your inspirations?

Individuals with fresh ideas, in particular Anthony Moscolo who is a Director for Toni and Guy and I loved his style and creativity..

  

What is the your best hairdressing moment?  

When I know that a client leaves the salon happy and satisfied with their hair and the whole experience has been enjoyable for them.

   

What do you think are current looks and trends for current season?

Colour is  big  to complement any sort of haircut  whether it’s a chic crop or long sexy layers. Men’s hair is still very rugged and textured. 

 

What is the biggest buzz you've had in hairdressing?

Going on events and courses which provide me with new creative ideas.
